1. Cottage Food Law Compliance

This product is made in compliance with the Texas Cottage Food Law (Texas Health & Safety Code Chapter 437). It is homemade in a residential kitchen that is not inspected or certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) or any local health authority.

As required by Texas law:

  • This food is not subject to state inspection.
  • It is sold directly to consumers (not through retail stores or restaurants).
  • It does not require refrigeration for safety.
  • The product is labeled in accordance with Texas Cottage Food Law, including allergen disclosures.

2. Hygiene and Food Safety Measures

While this product is homemade, we take all necessary hygiene and food safety precautions, including but not limited to:
✅ Wearing gloves when handling food.
✅ Hair nets when handling food.
✅ Sanitizing all equipment and surfaces used in production.
✅ Vacuum sealing products for extended freshness and food safety.

However, because this product is prepared in a home kitchen, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Although no products with fish, meats, or peanuts are prepared with the production materials of the product, and the production materials are soley used for the purpose of preparing the product. Consumers with allergies should nevertheless exercise caution and carefully read the nutrition label.

3. Liability Limitation

By purchasing this product, the buyer assumes all risks related to the consumption of homemade food. The seller is not liable for any illness, allergic reaction, or adverse effect resulting from the consumption of this product.

4. Contract Law Acknowledgment

Under Texas contract law, the purchase of this product constitutes a binding agreement between the seller and the buyer. By completing the transaction, the buyer acknowledges that:

  • They have read and understood this disclaimer.
  • They accept the terms of sale, including all food safety risks.
  • No warranties or guarantees are provided beyond what is explicitly stated.
  • Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas and resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction within Texas.
